# Acquire USDC & XLM

Before integrating, the wallet (or test account) needs **XLM for fees** and a **USDC trustline** on Stellar testnet.

## Steps

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Create or fund a testnet account

* [Stellar Laboratory — Account Creator](https://laboratory.stellar.org/#account-creator?network=test)
* Or create via [Demo Wallet](https://demo-wallet.stellar.org/)

Send **XLM** to the account for transaction fees (withdraw sends USDC + needs \~0.001 XLM fee).
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Add USDC trustline

Use Demo Wallet **Add asset**:

* Home domain: **`sep.coridor.fun`**
* Asset: **USDC** / issuer above

Or via Laboratory / CLI.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Get test USDC (optional)

For **withdraw** testing you need USDC in the wallet:

* Complete a **deposit** through Coridor (simulate in sandbox), or
* Receive USDC from another testnet wallet

There is no Coridor-specific faucet — use deposit flow or peer transfer.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Verify anchor supports the asset

Fetch TOML and confirm USDC is listed:

```http
GET https://sep.coridor.fun/.well-known/stellar.toml
```

Wallet SDK:

```typescript
const anchor = wallet.anchor({ homeDomain: "sep.coridor.fun" });
const info = await anchor.getInfo();
const usdc = info.currencies.find((c) => c.code === "USDC");
```

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.coridor.fun/developers/acquire-usdc-and-xlm.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
